In addition to the pro-bono work that our firm does, we also find other ways to give back to our community. Giving is a huge part of our mission and is important not just to the partners of the firm but everyone in our company.
Each year, our staff hosts a giving week where everyone in the office is allowed to nominate one community organization they think is worthy of our gifts. Then, throughout the week, we host a variety of fundraisers, including bake sales, wearing jeans each day for $5, and a kiss a pig contest. This is a great event because staff can throw money into a bucket with one of the partners names on it and the person with the most money will have to kiss a pig! All the donations are then given to the organization and then matched by the firm.
We also allow our staff three days off a year to volunteer at their favorite organization. This is a way for them to get into the community and do the work that means the most to us.
We know that as a firm we wouldn’t exist without the community so we are committed to making the best we can.
